About The Role :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated System or Network Administrator to join our team at EFPL. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Windows systems, network administration, and security protocols. Responsibilities :

• 1. Network and Server Administration:
• • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and access points.
• • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network resources.
• • Implement security measures to safeguard data and prevent unauthorized access.


• 2. Windows Active Directory and User Administration:
• • Administer Windows Active Directory services, user accounts, and group policies.
• • Ensure proper user access controls, permissions, and security settings.
• • Troubleshoot user-related issues and provide timely support.


• 3. Group Policy Implementation:
• • Configure and manage group policies to enforce security, compliance, and system settings.
• • Collaborate with other teams to align policies with organizational requirements.


• 4. Firewall, Switches, and Access Points:
• • Hands-on experience with firewall configuration, rule management, and intrusion detection.
• • Familiarity with switch configuration, VLAN setup, and link aggregation.
• • Manage wireless access points (APs) and SSID configurations.


• 5. Networking Concepts:
• • Understand VPN (Virtual Private Network) setup and maintenance.
• • Knowledge of VLAN segmentation and network segmentation best practices.
• • Experience with switch stacking and redundancy.

Qualifications :

• • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Network+) preferred.
• • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in system or network administration.
• • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
